Trovo particolarmente
necessari in casi simili. Inoltre, anche se se ne accetta
l'autenticità, resta il problema della natura
decisemente frammentaria della testimonianza, e dunque delle
diverse possibili integrazioni e interpretazioni.

DeConick: "I am thinking that the fragment is from a
Valentinian text, like the Gospel of Philip, whose author is
aware of the alternative sayings traditions that we find
also embedded in Gospel of Thomas. It makes
perfect sense in this context and is consistent with what
we already know about ideology in early Valentinian
Gnostic Christianity".

discussione di vari problemi, in forma di domanda-risposta:
es. [dalla 1 risposta]: "No,
this fragment does not provide evidence that Jesus was
married. The comparatively late date of this Coptic papyrus (a
fourth century CE copy of a gospel probably written in Greek
in the second half of the second century) argues against its
value as evidence for the life of the historical Jesus
[.....]" [dalla 2. risposta]: "Thus, on the
basis of the age of the papyrus, the placement and absorption
of the ink on the page, the type of the handwriting, and the
Coptic grammar and spelling, it was concluded that it is
highly probable that the fragment is an ancient text. Although
a final conclusion about the parchment's authenticity remains
open to further examination by colleagues and to further
testing, especially of the chemical composition of the ink,
these assurances were sufficient for work on the analysis and
interpretation of the fragment to begin in earnest. [......]"

quesiti, con le relative risposte. ....

Further Thought on the ‘King Papyrus’ (Or Jesus’ Wife
Snippet or Whatever) -
Sottolinea un antico problema: quello della
pubblicazione di materiale do provenienza sconosciuta o
numerosi casi: "Remember the ‘Ivory Pomegranate’?
The ‘James Ossuary Inscription’? The ‘Jehoash
Inscription’? The ‘Lead Codices’? The ‘Secret
Gospel of Mark’?" commenta West.

(Che osserva tra l'altro "I am not a papyrologist but I
can't get over how amateurish and blotchy the fragment's text
looks. It is clearly written by someone using a thick
nibbed pen and it looks weird. Several letters are
particularly bold, as if someone has written over them them for
emphasis, including TA, the "my" in "my wife"" [Goodacre])

"King took the fragment to New York where she
was joined by Professor Anne Marie Luijendijk, of Princeton
University. Together they showed it to Roger Bagnall, director
of the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World. Bagnall,
a renowned expert in papyrology and the cultures of ancient
Egypt and Greece, confirmed its authenticity. The three
scholars trace the papyrus to ancient Egyptian Christians
because it is written in the language used by them" ... "King
and Luijendijk have named the text the Gospel of Jesus's Wife.
They believe it is a translation of an even older version,

"As we get closer to the rapture of the
church, and by extension the Great Tribulation, the bible
says that the professing church will fall into utter
apostasy. [...] We consider the following story the
official opening round in Satan’s end times plan to sow
doubt in your mind. And putting doubt into your mind was the
very first attack of the Devil on a human being…Eve in the
garden."

tendenzialmente apologetica the-end-time.blogspot.it/2012/09/
